EBCOG released a Joint Position Statement regarding Ukraine. This initiative was led by us, the Baltic and Finnish Societies of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. EBCOG fully endorses this statement, as well as the additional signatories that have been included in the document text.
The unnecessary aggression against the Ukrainian people and all military action against civilians needs to be ceased immediately. EBCOG also supports our medical colleagues in Ukraine in demanding the adherence to the established Green Humanitarian Corridor to facilitate quick access to medical care and save lives.
Our thoughts remain with the people of Ukraine in this hour of darkness.
